Note that it is the molasses that makes this popcorn an alkaline snack. So be careful if you use recipes described as Cracker Jack copies. Because I’ve seen many versions of this recipe that omit the molasses. So they’re really regular caramel corn recipes. Obviously, it’s OK to eat some acid-loading snacks. As long as your overall food intake is alkalizing. But don’t be fooled by badly labeled recipes.
