As a dairy product, cream is naturally acid-forming. But you must remember that for alkaline diets to work properly you must include some acid-forming foods. As long as you ensure that your overall food intake is alkalizing.<\/p>\n
This USDA food category also includes some cream substitutes. These are only alkaline because they include chemicals that reduce acid load. But correct alkaline dieting must not include chemicals that artificially add negative PRAL values. So I strongly recommend avoiding chemical creamers.
